Its hard to maintain a nice rhythmic pace throughout a workout and I've always noticed the how the right songs can really make a run. I've tried before to set up "running playlist" but lets just say I didn't miss my calling as a DJ. Now thanks to the wonderful world of apps is super easy! Spring (http://www.springmoves.com/) and Rock My Run (http://www.rockmyrun.com/) help you search for and generate playlist around a targeted beats per minute (bpm). Just choose your the bpm and music genre and run free and easy. I've played around with both and used Spring for my run today. I could definitely feel the difference which has me so excited!
The above chart is a good guide to get you started. Of course these numbers are based on a specific stride length so you might need to go through a little bit of trial and error.
